What is SINIC::DOC?
SINIC::DOC is a software module from the SINIC::CAQ System family. It is a tool for the extensive and efficient document management including administration and control of all of your documents.
How does SINIC::DOC work?
SINIC::DOC manages revisions, statuses and document history of all of your documents, e.g., Quality Manuals, Standard Operating Procedures, Drawings, Organigramms, etc. and controls the distribution to persons, departments, suppliers, etc. You will create and edit your documents conveniently with the MS Windows® programs such as for example MS WORD®. The distribution of the documents as well as the adibance of deadlines are permanently observed. All documents can be distributed to reading stations, as print-outs or via e-mail.
How can you use SINIC::DOC?
SINIC::DOC supports you with daily maintenance and control of your quality relevant documentation. This module will help you to organize your document management paperless, company wide and automated. New and already available documents will be quickly integrated into the already existing structure. All documents are constantly up-to-date and are available to all appropriate employees, which have reader and editor rights.
SINIC::DOC covers the following functions:
- Administration of revision state and histories of documents
- Permanent control of document distribution and compliance of deadlines
- Distribution of documents optionally per read station, print out or e-mail
- Full-text search for document contents and direct access of content via search terms
- Listing of all documents with change references
- Bequeath of folder authorizations to sub folders
- Export of list contents to EXCEL® an text files
- Print out of all documents in one folder
- Separate print out of contents from documents, which are set for distribution, in the SINIC::DOC Distribution Service
- Document history: all previous versions of an actual document can be seen if required
- Automatical e-mail notification at the arrival of new documents
- Extensive user administration with a detailed assignment of user rights, also on folder level
- Automatical assignment of user rights while the creating of new or deleting of former users in the distribution groups
