SINIC::FMEA Failure Mode and Effect Analysis
What is SINIC::FMEA?
SINIC::FMEA is a software module of the SINIC::CAQ System family which enables you to recognize and prevent defects in the production. Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) creates extensive risk analyses, which help to locate weak spots and potential causes of defects on time.
How does SINIC::FMEA work?
SINIC::FMEA is an easy to use graphical planning tool. You can use it to create and collect all data and facts of your process-, construction-, system- or freely defined FMEAs in structured databases. A large number of catalogs for key data, features, failures, causes of errors, actions, FMEA types and many more make this work more comfortable. Free sorting- and filter options offer you the possibility of individual adjustment of the overviews. Via direct links in the action- and deadline lists you can access single actions of each FMEA. Optionally you can create and use referential templates for each FMEA, action or failure. In addition you can conform actions and failures from the FMEAs to other programs of the SINIC::CAQ System. The integrated information system detects the respective risk priority number according to standardized evaluation criteria.
How can you use SINIC::FMEA?
SINIC::FMEA will help you to identify and prevent defects in advance of the production or even the construction. You will save costs, time and other resources by implementing FMEAs with this module. In addition, you will be able to create an extensive knowledge database that is specifically based on your company’s environment. SINIC::FMEA is fully integrated in the SINIC::CAQ System and works according to the specific demands of VDA, QS9000 and QMS.
SINIC::FMEA covers the following functions:
- Creating and administrating of process, construction, system or user-defined FMEAs
- Optional editing of FMEAs via tree structure, form or network plan
- Numerous catalogs for characteristics, attributes, defects, defect causes, actions, types etc.
- Direct access to FMEA actions from action or deadline lists
- Integrated ratio system for the evaluation of the RPN (Risk Priority Number)
- Definition of reference templates
- (Version) History
- Matching of defects and attributes with other modules of the SINIC::CAQ System
- Norm conformable standard print forms for printing or PDF creation
- and many more
