SINIC::PPAP Production Part Approval Process
What is SINIC::PPAP?
As a part of the SINIC::CAQ System SINIC::PPAP is the software module for the production part approval process. With this module you can plan, create and control inspection reports based on VDA and PPAP.
How does SINIC::PPAP work?
SINIC::PPAP supports size checks, functional tests, material testing, capability approvals, and reliability tests. It works both supplier related and recipient related. Per data import you transfer inspection features and inspection results to your reports. The extracted report data will be saved in the database and can be accessed, printed or copied at any time. VDA and PPAP forms or blank papers can be used as printing templates.
How can you use SINIC::PPAP?
With SINIC::PPAP you can verify the evidence for fulfillment of the required quality features by applying the standard procedure for initial sample inspection before having started the actual serial production of a product. The module supports you in the special survey and the testing of the capability of new parts. Besides conformation of initial sample reports you also receive specific reports on customized forms.
SINIC::PPAP covers the following functions:

- User management with privileges
- Customer and supplier master database
- Support for dimensional, functional, material, capability and reliability inspections
- Both supplier- and customer-related operation
- Integrated on-line measurement acquisition
- Target date monitoring
- Full attachment to CAQ database
- Supports forms after PPAP and VDA (e.g. VDA 1 to 3, VDA 2 / 4 run 2004, PPAP Fourth Edition March 2006)
- Printout on original VDA forms or blank paper
- Production Part Approval Process reports to QS 9000
- PPAP forms with optional English/German entries available
