Barrier-free Internet Access with CALVIN WebAccess
When calibrating gages, besides the precision time is an elemental factor. To radically accelerate the realtime collaboration and barrier-free exchange of calibration data without a great effort of distribution we expanded the professional software for gage- and calibration management CALVIN with an access via internet: CALVIN WebAccess.
With CALVIN WebAccess you can issue gage data in the internet, which allows calibration laboratories, -departments and –delegates to get their information to their target audience quickly and directly. Gages and inspections can be assigned and managed. Via login in your browser you can access gage maturity lists, inspection results and the history of each gage at any time and worldwide. Additionally CALVIN WebAccess makes it possible that users can download and print their own gage certificates after a successful calibration. With the e-mail communication interface you have a permanent contact to your gage delegate. No more printing and distributing of maturity lists: all users do have direct access to their working data – sorted and filtered. The internet expansion can be installed in your local LAN as intranet solution or public in the internet.
Updates, upgrades and changes of the program version are installed directly on the server at central location and are therefore available for every user. The user just needs a web browser, additional local software settings are not necessary.
CALVIN WebAccess especially focuses on good performance with high data traffic. Therefore we implemented intelligent paging-algorithms in the program. The whole system is completed by an AJAX framework (Asynchronous Javascript And XML) which allows the asynchronous exchange of data with the webserver.
